Definitions

What Verification Means and Where Responsibility Sits

What “Verified Hospital” Means

"Verified Hospital" means the institution is operating legally under Chinese healthcare regulation and that we have cross-checked key public information such as official hospital disclosures, department information, and relevant accreditation or registry references. It does not mean a government guarantee of outcomes.

Source Links and Evidence

Where available, we provide direct links to hospital websites, public registries, and source materials so patients can verify key facts themselves.

Who Pays and Who Is Responsible

Hospital treatment fees are paid directly to the hospital. Clinical responsibility remains with the treating hospital and licensed clinicians.

Our role is coordination, translation, records transfer, scheduling, and continuity support.

Risk and Pricing Standards

Risk Disclosure Standard

Every procedure page includes suitability, contraindications, common risks, urgent warning signs, and recovery checkpoints.

Tracked procedures: 7

Pricing Transparency Standard

Quotations separate included and excluded items and highlight probable additional costs before booking confirmation.

No hidden “all-inclusive” claims.

Claims & Testimonial Standard

Patient stories are published with consent and disclosure notes. Some stories may include internal documentation checks, but they should not be interpreted as an independent third-party patient verification system.

Medical pages are reviewed by a qualified clinical reviewer and show the latest review date.

Post-Op Safety

Emergency and Follow-Up Pathway

  1. For urgent non-emergency concerns, we aim to acknowledge and start escalation within 15 minutes.
  2. Within 2 hours, we aim to provide a documented next-step response that may include hospital coordination, same-day review arrangements, translation support, medication clarification, or advice to seek local emergency care.
  3. In any medical emergency, patients should go to the nearest emergency department first.
  4. Clinical responsibility remains with the treating hospital and licensed clinicians; our role is to coordinate communication, records transfer, appointment scheduling, translation, and continuity support.
  5. If a dispute arises, we support the patient by organizing records, translations, timelines, and communication with the provider.

How We Handle Safety, Privacy, Claims, and Images

Patient Stories and Claims

Patient stories are published with consent and disclosure notes. Some stories may include internal documentation checks, but they should not be interpreted as an independent third-party patient verification system.

Any voucher, fee reduction, or service benefit is disclosed on the testimonial or case card. Patient stories are labeled as documented stories or source-pending submissions rather than 'verified patient' claims.

Privacy and Data Handling

We collect only the minimum required information for treatment matching and logistics. Records are handled on a need-to-know basis by authorized coordination staff, shared only as needed for case review, and never sold.

  • Purpose: case evaluation, appointment coordination, and patient communication
  • Retention: inquiry data is retained for up to 24 months unless deletion is requested
  • Cross-border transfer: with patient consent, records may be shared with up to 3 shortlisted hospitals for case review and quote comparison

Medical Content Review

Medical pages are reviewed by a qualified clinical reviewer and show the latest review date.

DentalTripChina.com is a non-clinical coordination service. Clinical responsibility and treatment decisions remain with the treating hospital and licensed clinicians.
